You need to configure the good heating value with 2 different speeds. You just have to use the heating wizard configuration, in Jedicut options.

Do you try to use it ?

Still no luck , Jedicut does not recognize heat in manual position, even though the bow heats up..

Do you take a look at the pin configuration ?

hi
I have same style problem with jedicut and external timer.
I have not managed to install the temperature setting on various materials in jedicut heat options. When i set up travel lenght for example 100mm and i press test button, then wire moves but do not heat up.
Temperature value did not change what ever i do, there read always -1% heating value.

Manual control works fine, wire heat up and axles moves

I use this driver board http://www.hobbycnc.com/products/hobbycnc-pro-chopper-driver-board-kits/
and extrenal timer is http://rc-letmathe.de/product_info.php?cPath=61&products_id=1282

please help me !

Hello,

i use the MM2001. The heating is good.

-1% heating value i become, when the heating-switch is off.

I think, you must show to the input-pins + configuration.

Hello,

What dll do you use ? You have to use the plugin cncnet_xp.dll or similar.

Hello

i have tried solve my heating problems but nothing did not help !
when i set manual heating value etc 100% and press validate putton its works fine ! axes move and wire get full voltage.
50% wire gets half voltage.

Full voltage: http://s166.beta.photobucket.com/user/boyneon/media/voltageon.jpg.html

When i tried use heating control wizard, it's almost works. Axes move fast or slow as it should be.
only wire did not heating, voltage is zero
Control wizard: http://s166.beta.photobucket.com/user/boyneon/media/heatingsetup.jpg.html

Hello,
I added two video of my problems, first video i set manual heat value and its works fine. Look at pin number ten and eleven what there happens
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uv49Rnt7ZI4&feature=youtu.be

Second video i tried set automatic heating value to different material, but it not work.
Look now what there happen pin ten and eleven !

Is this software problem or what ?

Hi,

There were a problem with this adapter and I worked on Jedicut heating wizard setup.

My first idea : I add a checkbox in the Jedicut heating wizard setup. When you check it, Jedicut will send a heating signal, regardless the position of your heating switch (manual or auto). But when I look at your video it seems to not work. Do I understand your second video ?
But my question is : why are you entering "-100" in heating value in your second video ?

I don't have cnc board to test this functionality.

My second idea, if this new special Jedicut feature dosn't work, you can look at this and do the manipulation : http://www.aeropassion.net/theblog/post/2012/05/Improve-your-G4M-adaptor

After that, return to Jedicut, and uncheck the checkbox "heating value" in Jedicut heating value wizard.

I have a third idea : register your nickname on this forum, and indicate your location, just for fun winking smiley

Hi,

Yes you have understand right the second video, heating wizard setup did not working. Is it -100% or 100% it's no matter, it still not heating.
I have already added external wiring in card, but it not help.

i use next setup:
External timer pin 10
Heating control pin 16
Heating return pin 11
Heating status pin 12

Are this pin number righ ?

Hi,

It's the right pin configuration.

If you add the wire on your adapter :
- Do you check "synchronize with external timer" ?
- Put the switch on your adapter on "Manuel", uncheck the checkbox under heating value and click on "Test" button. Do you have an error message ? Is Jedicut show a heating value ?
- When you click on "Test" button, do you see your motors working ?

Hi,

Yes i have activated the option "synchronize with extrenal timer"
I tested again like you advise and jedicut indeed show heating value in the box when i click test button and axels move. If i adjust the potentiometer even if to full then jedicut shows 100% when i adjust potentiometer to smaller then jedicut show lower readings.

I took photo in the situation

Hi,

Great, so now heating works like you want ?

Hi,
it works almost as i want. eye rolling smiley
If i would like write my own heat value for example 55%( without potentiometer) in heating value box etc. Then motors will be move but wire did not heat. It is difficult adjust heating value with potentiometer because it is located inside the box. I would not want to remove potentiometer of the card and change its location. Unless there are really forced to move it sad smiley
Re: No Heat

It seems to be an error in Jedicut options with the heating wizard checkbox. I'll take a look at this.

When you uncheck it, Jedicut has to read the heating value your choose with potentiometer. It's the normal way to configure materials in Jedicut. smiling smiley
